Join us at this fun, family event to learn all about winter wildlife. Which animals go into hibernation, which only go into a state of torpor, and what do their homes look like? We'll explore the Ramsey Heights nature reserve together, looking for burrows, dens and nests. Then we'll head indoors to create our very own hibernation diorama scenes. Pick your favourite species and design a cosy home to protect them from the cold. Will it be a badger sett, a rabbit burrow, a foxes earth, or do you have a better idea? Feel free to bring your own mini toy animal from home, or we'll have a selection to choose from. Other festive crafts available too.

This event will be best suited to Primary-age children and above.

Price: Child £5/£7.50 plus Eventbrite booking fees.

Refreshments (snacks and drinks) are available for a donation. We recommend bringing a packed lunch.
