Event details

Join us this Halloween half term for a magical self-led Spooky Pumpkin Trail around Paxton Pits Nature Reserve!

Become a Guardian of Paxton Pits and set off on a spooky outdoor adventure, searching for wooden pumpkins hidden along the trail. Each pumpkin features a Halloween silhouette and a number. Find them all and record the numbers in your Halloween Activity Booklet to crack the spooky code!

Your adventure begins and ends at the Visitors Centre, where you'll discover a range of Halloween-themed activities and crafts.

Every child ticket includes:
Spooky Activity Booklet - collect the numbers from all nine pumpkins and complete the spooky code.
Halloween collection bag - collect natural treasures along the trail to use in your crafts.
Wooden Guardian Amulet - decorate your very own wooden amulet and become an official Guardian of Paxton Pits.
Willow Wand - create and decorate your own magical willow wand using willow from the Huntingdonshire countryside.
Guardian of Paxton Pits Storytelling - gather in the Visitors Centre towards the end of your session and listen to a magical tale from the Keeper of the Wildwood.
Spooky Sapling - once you've completed your adventure and activities, you'll receive a young tree to take home and plant.

The trail runs from 10:00am until 4:00pm, with staggered start times throughout the day. The final bookable entry time is 3:00pm.
