On Thursday 2 April 2026 the Gardens, Park, Adventure Playground and Dinosaur Trail will open early from 8:30am offering a calmer, quieter environment for families with children and adults on the autistic spectrum, as well as those with learning disabilities or sensory and communication disorders.
This early opening provides the opportunity to explore our attractions at a relaxed pace, without the usual crowds.

During the school holidays we run bookable, paid-for activities and we also offer monthly free Family Saturday drop in sessions. Our birthday parties are great value at £120 for the first ten children and then £12 per extra child up to 15 in total.
