Octopus Garden Swim School
Age: 0 - 4
Our aim at the Octopus Garden Swim School is to teach basic swimming/ lifesaving skills and a healthy respect for the water.
How we do that depends on the individual child and what they need each week to build their confidence.
Each class consists of 4 children.
Each exercise/game/song is based on safety, confidence, floating, travel, submerging and independence.
We encourage the children to achieve these skills when their confidence allows.
Built around fun, toddlers can progress to tiny tots groups where children around 3yrs are in the water without a parent.

"We love our classes at The Octopus Garden - we have been attending for nearly 2 years now and can't fault it. Wendy is such a brilliant teacher - she is so kind and caring, and all her classes focus on teaching swimming safety and confidence in a fun and engaging way. There is always singing and laughing and lots of fun games, and it is wonderful to watch the kids progress and fall in love with the water under Wendy's guidance. The facilities are lovely too and are always clean and well maintained. It really is fantastic."
