Children's activity clubs & classes

The Nature Patch Stay & Play is a unique outdoor children's class. We currently run sessions
Tuesday 9.30-11.00 with optional 30min free play 11.30
Friday 12.30-14.00 with optional 30min free play 14.30

Our sessions give children the opportunity to explore, play and learn in a real allotment environment, surrounded by nature. Children can get stuck in with hands-on gardening activities such as planting, digging, watering, harvesting and bug hunting, alongside seasonal nature crafts, sensory activities and creative outdoor play.

There's plenty of space for children to use their imagination too, with our mud kitchen, den, tyre play, climbing and balancing areas and other upcycled play equipment.
Sessions are relaxed, child-led and designed to encourage curiosity, confidence, creativity and a love of the outdoors. Parents and carers stay and supervise their children throughout the session.

Term-time sessions are aimed at younger children, with older siblings welcome during school holidays. We also offer special seasonal sessions and can provide tailored outdoor activities for nurseries, schools, clubs, home-educating families and other children's groups.
