The Living Theatre
Age: 13 - 18
Have you ever wondered what it takes to take a theatre show from the page to the stage...in a week...outdoors?
For the first time this summer, The Living Theatre are opening their metaphorical doors to theatre lovers aged 13-18 to create a show in a week across May half term.
Split into two groups 13-15 & 16-18, you'll work with actors, directors and designers from The Living Theatre team who will share their experience, passion and (in some cases) wisdom from the world of Theatre and beyond.
Learn from practitioners who have worked at The Hampstead Theatre, the BBC, Channel 4, Jermyn Street Theatre, Amazon Studios and Lionsgate Film and trained at conservatoires including; Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Bristol Old Vic and Mountview Academy.
This is a hands on, theatre intensive. You will design, build, stage and perform the show, experiencing all aspects of theatre making from set builds to front of house prep, all while learning valuable skills in outdoor performance and team work.
Days will start at 10am and end at 5pm, ending with a 7pm performance on the Friday.
Early Bird Tickets - £175
General Admission - £200
The Living Theatre is an outdoor space and we work in all weathers, so if a week of chaos, fun and creativity in the face of whatever nature throws our way sounds up your street come and join our company! Lets make some theatre magic!
