FREE Read and Doodle for emerging readers (approx age 6+).

Come join us in person for a fun and relaxed session where budding readers can dive into longer stories. It's the perfect chance for kids around 6 years and up to explore first chapter books and express themselves through drawing. Great for those who need something to do while listening. All welcome (age recommendation is approx). Please let us know if you/your child has any accessibility requirements. Parents/carers must accompany child/ren, can listen and doodle, or browse and buy from the shop!

We'll share your pictures if you'd like to and talk about what we liked/didn't like about the books. As always, this is an inclusive session for anyone who thinks they'd enjoy it. There's no expectation to sit still and quiet, we know you can listen when you're moving, drawing or fidgeting. We'll read a range of books and the kids will be able to choose books for the next sessions.

Book via Eventbrite. Free tickets. It's helpful to book so we know how many are coming, and so we can let you know if for any reason a session is cancelled. However do just pop in as well, especially in the first few sessions while we're getting established. No need to commit, just drop in as you fancy. There will eb the odd occasion we don't run, so do check our social media.

Parents need to stay and are welcome to listen and draw, Or browse our books. An opportunity to do something to promote reading in your family. If your child has any particular needs, drop us an email to discuss.
