Arise & Shine - SEND Toddler Group
Age: 0 - 5
We have two groups at Letchworth Garden City Church (SG6 1EF) aimed at pre-school aged children, Arise & Shine (SEND) and Adventure Tots.
Arise & Shine (SEND)
This group meets from 10am - 11:15am, Tuesday mornings (term time).
Arise & Shine is a group for pre-school children with emerging or diagnosed SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), where children are able to play freely in a calm and safe environment.
Each week there is the opportunity for children to explore and experience a range of activities, including soft play, imaginary play, craft and sensory. While parents and carers are able to have tea/coffee and meet others who have similar experiences.
Once a month a team member from Hertfordshire Family Centres, and Angels Autism and ADHD Support Group attend, they can offer advice and information.
At Arise & Shine we believe that every child has the ability to Arise and Shine, the team would love to journey with you.
Adventure Tots
This group meets on Wednesday mornings (term time) from 9:30am to 11:00am for stay & play, and our community café is open until 11:30am.
Each week there will be a time for playing in our amazing kids spaces which include soft play, imaginary play, instruments, singing, and opportunities for crafts too. Following 'stay & play' you are welcome to join our community café for donation-based refreshments.
The group runs term-time only each Wednesday
Please come along and join us, we would love to see you.
Both groups cost £2 per child and you can pay with cash or with card.

"A really friendly and welcoming group. My son and I were accepted and made to feel like we belonged straight away. Loads of the helpers have children with SEN needs so they really understand and you don't need to worry about what others think. Your child can just be themselves. "
