Hi, I'm Emma, and I founded Fuel for Mama to offer Hitchin-based parents (and in the surrounding area) antenatal services to help them have a more positive experience of birth.

I currently offer group and private hypnobirthing and birth preparation courses and pregnancy relaxation classes.

People are so quick to tell expectant parents horror stories, and guess what, it doesn't have to be like that. I used hypnobirthing during labour and am an absolute convert, and I can't wait to tell you more. My mission is to reach pregnant women, and let them know that great birth experiences exist and to help them to feel prepared ahead of labour and develop a positive mindset about birth.

Hypnobirthing couples the science of how we give birth with numerous techniques for relaxation so you feel informed and prepared to give birth and confident that you can make the right decisions for you.

I also offer weekly pregnancy relaxation classes, which are a great way to discover and practice relaxation (which is so important when you are in labour) and also learn about a different aspect of giving birth each week, while also making some time for you to find calm and connect with your baby.
