Flower Photogrpahy with Steve Granger
Ransoms Pavilion and the Triangle Garden
Sun 3rd May 2026
9.30-12.30
Want to get more from your camera? Capture and create breathtaking flower images in the wild?
We will explore how to make your camera work for you to create the images you want. We'll use the flowers and plants in and around the Triangle Community Garden to experiment with different tips and techniques. Your tutor will be talented and experienced photographer Steve Granger who has a keen interest in natural history photography. (Check out his work at @steve.photos99 on Instagram)
In the unlikely event of the weather preventing us being outside we have the option to create still life flower images in our pavilion that will demonstrate the hints and tips you need to create stunning imagery, using natural and artificial light.
What you'll need to bring: your camera, a tripod if you have one, weather-appropriate clothing, a notebook and pen
Suitable for ages 16-18 if accompanied by an adult
Meet at Ransom's Pavilion, Alexandra Road, Hitchin SG5 1RB
