Families in Hitchin can look forward to an exciting and activity-packed Easter break as our holiday camp returns to The Priory School from 30 March to 10 April.
Open to children aged 3–13, the camp offers an activity to suit every interest this Easter, giving children the chance to explore new hobbies, develop skills and enjoy time with friends during the school holidays.
For active children, Multi Sports, Xtreme and Football camps provide energetic days filled with games, competitions and team challenges. Creative campers can take part in Performing Arts & Crafts or the Theatre Workshop, building confidence through drama, creativity and performance.
This Easter also sees the arrival of our Mini Camp programme in Hitchin, designed specifically for 3–4 year olds in their pre-school year. With smaller groups and age-appropriate activities, Mini Camp offers a gentle introduction to holiday camps while providing affordable childcare for families.
Adding something extra special to the programme, a fencing specialist will be visiting on 8 April, giving children the chance to try a unique and exciting sport.
Mums’ Guide to Hitchin readers can also take advantage of an exclusive 25% off discount for new customers using the code HITCHINMUMSGUIDE25 when booking.
With such a wide range of activities available, the Easter camp at The Priory School promises a fun, inclusive environment where every child can find something they love this holiday.

New exhibition coming to North Herts Museum in Hitchin.
Every dinosaur ever seen, on film, TV, in books or exhibitions, has, at least in part, been a work of the imagination. Since the first dinosaurs were identified, there has been a desire to put flesh on the bones and a glint in the eye of these amazing animals.
This exhibition looks at the long history of our relationship with dinosaurs, from ancient legends of mythical winged beasts in the deserts of central Asia, to the creatures brought to life in Jurassic Park.
Visitors can also learn about the animals that lived alongside the dinosaurs and are still here today, and discover the passion and dedication of the fossil hunters in this fun, family-friendly exhibition.
It’s that time of year again- local charity Feed Up Warm Up are asking for help bringing in Easter eggs to donate to our guests.
Whether it’s just one or a dozen- every egg makes a difference. Drop off at our drop-in centres at the drop-in times or contact us to arrange collection .
Did you know- since launching this project, we have received and donated around 2300 Easter eggs to those who wouldn’t normally have one )
Iris Court Care Home is proud to be supporting The Food Shed this Easter and we need your help.
We are collecting Easter eggs to donate to families in our local community.
Lets come together as a community to put a smile on children's faces and spread a little Easter joy to those less fortunate.
Pop in and leave your Easter egg donations with us - together we can help make Easter a little brighter for our local families.
Our last day of donations is Friday 27th March, these will then be delivered to The Food Shed Stevenage for distribution.

Last year I had a message from a lady whose daughter had moved to Hitchin with her 1 year old, asking for suggestions of where she could go to meet other parents.
