Unleash your inner warrior! Join us for an action-packed day of ancient skills and outdoor adventure. Perfect for families looking to step back in time, our Celtic Warrior Experience brings history to life through hands-on challenges and tribal fun.
What's in Store:
- Archery: Test your aim and precision on our woodland range.
- Warrior Training: Master the essential skills of a Celtic hero.
- Friction Fire Lighting: Discover the ancient art of making fire without matches.
- Cooking Sausages: Roast your lunch over the open flames of the campfire.
- Drumming Workshops: Feel the rhythm of the tribe in our drumming sessions.
- Pottery: Get creative and craft your own ancient-inspired clay piece to take home.
- Storytelling: Gather round for captivating tales of Celtic legend.
Good to know:
- Bread and Sausage for cooking over open fire are included with a nice warm portion of Chips or Sweet Potato fries.
- The Woodland Bistro offers a variety of hot and cold drinks, cakes, and snacks during your break. Please note that Celtic Harmony Camp is a conservation area and a no-picnicking site.
- This is an outdoor experience; please wear sturdy footwear and warm clothing!
- Take the opportunity to explore our reconstructed Iron Age Village and visit our Prehistory Centre.
- The daily programme features a scheduled sequence of activities. The first session, which includes a friction fire-lighting demonstration and open-fire cooking, will take place between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. To ensure participation in this workshop, visitors are advised to arrive no later than 11:00 am.

- 10 minutes drive from Hertford town centre.
- 18 minutes drive from Hatfield Town Centre.
- Train from London to Bayford station on the Moorgate line, then 20 minute walk.
