Fun and Easy Easter DIY Crafts for Kids

Easter is the perfect time to get creative with your little ones! Whether you're looking for a fun way to decorate your home, make cute gifts, or simply keep the kids entertained, these Easter DIY crafts are simple, colorful, and full of festive spirit.

1. Bunny Paper Plate Mask

Let your kids hop into the Easter spirit by making their own bunny masks!

Materials Needed:

Paper plates

White and pink construction paper

Cotton balls

Glue

Scissors

Elastic string

Instructions:

1. Cut out two holes in the paper plate for eyes.

2. Cut out two long bunny ears from white construction paper and attach them to the top of the plate.

Materials Needed:

Potatoes (cut in half)

Paint (various colors)

Paper or canvas

Instructions:

1. Cut a potato in half and carve simple patterns into it (zigzags, dots, or stripes).

2. Dip the potato into paint and stamp it onto paper.

3. Once dry, use markers to add extra decorations

Materials Needed:

Plain headband

Pipe cleaners

White and pink felt

Hot glue

Instructions:

1. Shape two pipe cleaners into bunny ear shapes and attach them to the headband.

2. Cut out matching white and pink felt pieces for the ears and glue them onto the pipe cleaners.

Now your child has their own set of bunny ears to wear on Easter Sunday

5. Easter Egg Sun Catchers

Brighten up your windows with these colorful egg decorations!

Materials Needed:

Contact paper

Tissue paper (various colors)

Scissors

Construction paper

Instructions:

1. Cut an egg shape out of the contact papers

2. Let kids place colorful tissue paper pieces onto the sticky side.

3. Cover with another sheet of contact paper and trim the edges.

4. Use construction paper to create an outline for the egg.

5. Stick them on windows to catch the sunlight.
