Running from 1st - 31st July, between 10am and 6pm daily, the "Striving for Unity" exhibition offers our visitors a unique look into cultural heritage, community resilience, and the power of sport.

The exhibition, led by Bal Singh, showcases over three decades of work by the Khalsa FA. Each school holiday we run Storyboats for younger children. This is a gentle 40 minute cruise down the River Gade to where it meets the Grand Union Canal, with wildlife spotting while listening to stories. The books we read a picture books, so the audience can spot the hidden elements and learn about new creatures. Suitable for ages 4 to 8 years, it is the ideal way to fill time between the more costly holiday outings. We feed the waterfowl we encounter and if we are very lucky we see the kingfisher.

We run special themed boats at Halloween and Christmas, with goody bags and an extra special passenger in a red suit at Christmas.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, all passengers must have a ticket. Tickets can be purchased from our website.

Children's Workshops at the Walled Garden - Fun in the wonderful Walled Garden -
30 July - 10am-12pm The Fragrant (smelly) Garden - Discover the colours and smells of the flowers in the garden.
6th August - 10am - 12pm The Kitchen (tasty) Garden - Discover why fruit and vegetables that we can eat grow in the garden.

Only £10 per workshop per child - Limited spaces -Can be booked separately

These much-loved workshops are split between older and younger ages and are suitable for children between 4 and 11.

Each school holiday we run Storyboats for younger children. This is a gentle 40 minute cruise down the River Gade to where it meets the Grand Union Canal, with wildlife spotting while listening to stories. The books we read a picture books, so the audience can spot the hidden elements and learn about new creatures. Suitable for ages 4 to 8 years, it is the ideal way to fill time between the more costly holiday outings. We feed the waterfowl we encounter and if we are very lucky we see the kingfisher.

We run special themed boats at Halloween and Christmas, with goody bags and an extra special passenger in a red suit at Christmas.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, all passengers must have a ticket. Tickets can be purchased from our website.

This August, Little City East Herts is transforming into Toy City - inspired by everyone's favourite toy friends! Get ready for a month of imaginative play where little ones can create their own toy-filled adventures.

Step into a city designed just for little people, where children can explore, create, and become whoever they dream of being. Whether they're serving customers in the café, shopping in the supermarket, caring for patients, putting out fires, building amazing creations, or heading off on a space adventure, there's endless role-play fun waiting to be discovered!

Our Half Term Adventure Camp is a child-only experience designed specifically for children aged 8 to 11. Led by our expert team, this immersive programme helps young adventurers build confidence, learn ancient skills, and make new friends.

Join Trestle School of Drama as we create mini mask characters to explore the fete, the stalls and enjoy classic summertime games. The Great Fete opens this summer, see you there!

Through drama games and activities, Trestle Theatre specialists will teach you how to perform in mini masks and build brilliant characters with a performance at the end of the week.

AGES: 5 - 10
COSTS: £145pp, £5 early drop off from 9am per day. £5 late pick up until 4pm per day.
DATES: Mon 10 Aug - Fri 14 Aug 26
TIMES: 10am - 3pm each day, performance from 3pm - 3.30pm on Friday.

Each school holiday we run Storyboats for younger children. This is a gentle 40 minute cruise down the River Gade to where it meets the Grand Union Canal, with wildlife spotting while listening to stories. The books we read a picture books, so the audience can spot the hidden elements and learn about new creatures. Suitable for ages 4 to 8 years, it is the ideal way to fill time between the more costly holiday outings. We feed the waterfowl we encounter and if we are very lucky we see the kingfisher.

We run special themed boats at Halloween and Christmas, with goody bags and an extra special passenger in a red suit at Christmas.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, all passengers must have a ticket. Tickets can be purchased from our website.
