The Big Wild Sleep Out is a unique opportunity for families to spend a night out in the wild!

Arriving late in the afternoon there will be time to pitch your tent before heading out for pond dipping. After dinner (bring your own or join us for a fish and chip run!) we'll have a walk around the reserve with bat detectors as the sun sets and learn all about the nocturnal wildlife of Rye Meads. We will then come back to the Visitor Centre for a hot chocolate before falling asleep to the sounds of night-time nature. Our week-long summer school offers a wide range of creative activities, giving children the chance to take over the museum! The historic school building is transformed into an immersive set design, full of opportunities for role-play, team-building games, filming, and drama workshops. From script to screen, children will create their own short film - writing, directing, and starring in it themselves.

At the end of the week, parents are invited to a special movie screening to see what their children have been working on.

The aim is to throw your disc into the basket, just as you would hit a ball into the hole on a golf course! A 9-hole round will take about one hour to complete, with the person taking the least shots winning. It's easy to learn and great for fitness, making Disc Golf the perfect activity for a day out with family and friends.

Get ready for an unforgettable experience with Garg's and his wonderful animals! Here's your chance to get up close and personal with some incredible critters, all while having a blast! Looking for a fun outdoor activity in the woods with family and friends? Brickendon Disc Golf is open at the weekend from Saturday 14 March at Celtic Harmony Camp.
The aim is to throw your disc into the basket, just as you would hit a ball into the hole on a golf course! A 9-hole round will take about one hour to complete, with the person taking the least shots winning. It's easy to learn and great for fitness, making Disc Golf the perfect activity for a day out with family and friends.

(Please note that the Disc Golf course will be closed for essential maintenance on 18th and 19th April. We apologise for any inconvenience.)
