Hertfordshire charity supporting young carers - anyone who helps look after a family member who is ill or disabled, or takes on extra responsibilities at home because of this.

Whole family support, guidance through big changes like moving to secondary school, the chance to meet other young carers and local trips and activities.

Anyone can contact Cruse to talk about themselves or someone they know who has been affected by a death. Our volunteers talk to bereaved people in their own homes and provide one to one support. This service is confidential and free.

Shout is the UK's first 24/7 text service, free on all major mobile networks, for anyone in crisis anytime, anywhere. It's a place to go if you're struggling to cope and you need immediate help. Shout is powered by a team of volunteers, who are at the heart of the service. We take people from crisis to calm every single day. Shout exists in the US as 'Crisis Text Line', but this is the first time the tried and tested technology has come to the UK. The anonymised data we collate gives us unique insights into mental health trends to help improve people's lives.

Call or email for information, advice, guidance and support on a range of issues, including health and wellbeing, from qualified Youth Workers and Personal Advisers. Services for Young People provides youth work projects and programmes, information, advice, guidance, work related learning, outdoor education and support for young people aged 13-19 (to 24 for young people with learning disabilities). For young people leaving care, support is provided to the age of 21.

Therapeutic Hooves offer Therapeutic Equine support to children , teens and adults with emotional , behavioural , physical , life limiting and additional needs. We offer tailored 1:1 sessions, group sessions, home education group sessions and volunteering opportunities.
