Burghley Gardens - (House closed)

it's a great to explore some new sculptures, watch the kids run around & eat ice-cream from the Garden Shed. The Garden Shop is also open 10:30 -4:30 and closed at lunch. The garden and sculpture trail are booked in 2.5 hour slots, everyone has to book. There is no water play but it's STILL FREE FOR PASSHOLDERS. You can buy a pass with a time slot together. Houghton Mill National Trust

Mill Closed but you can still enjoy the scenery and countryside. You will need to book your car parking space in advance of your arrival to Houghton Mill. Members can book for free, while non-members will need to pay when booking. We'll be releasing tickets every Friday. Please note we'll be turning people away who arrive and haven't booked. Mountfitchet Castle

Replica norman wooden castle, motte and village. There's so much more to this than you realise there's animals roaming freely throughout such as goats, deer and ducks. There is over 10 acres to explore with lots of out buildings, armoury and battlements. The site is also close to the Toy Museum with lots of fun things to see and do (if you're brave enough).
