We are an independent family run restaurant. Fouad has run Bar Meze since 2007 and he is passionate about providing good quality food and customer service. Fouad knows his customers by name and welcomes one and all. We serve the native cuisine of Cyprus - the historic meeting place of Europe and Asia. Our dishes have Greek, Ottoman and Arabic influences resulting in a unique blend. Our company motto "Eat, Drink, Share" pays reference to the Eastern Mediterranean way of eating that is both healthy and fun.

bean CENTRAL is possibly the smallest coffee shop in St Albans, located on a small strip of shops in Central Drive which serve the local community, residential streets and schools.​ We serve our own label, great quality take away coffee which we have blended and selected ourselves, it's then roasted locally so that we can offer you fresh, great tasting coffee. We also sell locally produced, homemade cakes and granola, soft drinks, tea and our own premium hot chocolate and if you fancy some people watching, we even have an outside table and chairs.

Our flagship store opened in 2013 right in the heart of this bustling market city. We showcase around 500 craft, traditional and foreign bottled beers in our St Albans shop, as well as offering a selection of cask and keg beers for people to try on the premises or take away.
