Herts Young Mariners Base outdoor centre, known as HYMB, has been delivering high quality outdoor education sessions to adults and young people for over 60 years. From initially offering mainly watersports, over the past decade we have expanded into other areas, for example caving, climbing, problem-solving, team building activities and stand up paddleboarding.

Inspire Music School offers guitar lessons to the St Albans area. We are passionate about people aged 5 - adults learning and thriving with the Guitar. We launched in St Albans at the start of 2017 and offer a simple yet effective 'Guitar Intro Course' for only £60 to help students get started!

Interactive Phonics is an ONLINE reading programme led by a 'live' teacher. The programme covers phonics phases 2 to 5 in half an hour sessions with small groups of no more than 5 children. Phonics classes include practising tricky words, learning sounds, segmenting and blending for spelling and reading and reading and writing sentences. Free assessments are available.

The Kathleen Murray School of Irish Dancing was established in September 1994. Kathleen is the principal teacher and teaches Irish Dancing to boys and girls of all abilities from the age of 4. Kathleen has 20 years experience in teaching children and had been adjudicating competitions for the past 10 years.

London Colney Youth FC have been going since 2015, and have currently 20 teams in existence.

We have age groups from U7s to U13s, with teams playing in the Watford Friendly League

We also run a Soccer School on Saturday mornings for Reception age to Year 4. Anyone is free to come along, first session is free and then thereafter is a weekly charge.
