More about the charity that is being supported through this event:

Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering (Age UK RBH) is an independent local charity aiming to improve and maintain the quality of life for older people living in the London boroughs of Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham and Havering by being a focus of advice and help for older people, ensuring that older people have dignity, respect, choice and that their voices are heard and ensuring that services are provided in a sensitive and approachable manner.

The charity supports over 8000 people each year aged 50+ and provides: information and advice, support to reduce isolation via befriending, Di's Diamonds social, leisure and cultural activities and digital inclusion, help to navigate the health and social care system, awareness about preventing falls, opportunities to keep active, help at home and ways to reduce improve energy efficiency of your home and reduce energy bills.

This year's Panto will be supporting our Di's Diamonds service. By supporting older people to keep engaged/active through social, cultural and leisure activities we enable them to build stronger community relationships with peers, become more resilient, independent and socially connected reducing effects of isolation and long term health conditions.
