Hopefield Animal Sanctuary sits on 53 acres of beautiful countryside in the heart of Brentwood, Essex. The sanctuary currently cares for over 500 sick, unwanted and mistreated animals. Our mission is to help animals in need and provide education and awareness for humane behaviour towards all animals around the world. Our animals live out their lives at Hopefield in peace, surrounded by love and receiving the best care.

Covid measures in place. Here at Langleybury Children's Farm we provide a safe enjoyable and affordable way to spend a day out. During your visit to this voluntary run farm you will be able to get up close and personal to an array of animals. These include: Sheep, Goats, Ducks, Geese, Chickens, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Owls, Aviary Birds, Ferrets, Creepy Crawlies and our new additions for 2020, The Donkeys Susie and Stella. Our picnic and play area is set within a lovely garden setting including a pond with large Coy Carp fish. Our outside space also includes a mini football pitch. We sell a small selection of gifts, refreshments, snacks and ice creams. Fresh free range hen, duck and goose eggs are also for sale subject to availability, as well as fresh produce home grown in our veggie patch when in season. Toilet and Wash Basin Facilities are available including a baby change area and wheelchair accessible cubical.

Our popular visitor farm at Hayes Hill is now operated by Marsh Farm.



The Marsh Farm team will re-open the venue to the public on 28 April under the new name - Lee Valley Animal Adventure Park - where visitors can expect to see a wide range of their favourite animals and enjoy a host of fun new events for all the family to enjoy.

A fish shop with a difference with our new coffee shop and children's soft play area. Soft play area - Max of 14 children at a time. £2.50 per child for 50 minutes. Sessions start on the hour. Feed the giant koi for just £1.

A family day out at Mead Open Farm offers lots of opportunities to get to know our animals. A daily schedule of animal fun activities means everyone, no matter what age, has a chance to learn about, touch and feed farm animals and pets. Covid measures are in place tickets must be prebooked.
