Pregnancy Yoga, Mum & Baby Yoga & Doula
Pregnancy yoga classes are a chance for mums-to-be to slow down and connect with their babies, whilst caring for and nourishing their evolving bodies.
The class will consist of gentle asanas suitable for trimesters two and three of pregnancy, to relieve aches and pains, as well as creating a sense of grounding and calm. The class will also teach breathing techniques to help with labour, as well as birth positions and pelvic floor exercises. Each week we will have a short discussion about different pregnancy and birth topics, and I will use my knowledge as a Doula to guide this. There will be a guided relaxation, followed by a chance to chat to other mums over a cup of tea.
The Mum & Baby class is a slow and gentle flow, focusing on relieving aches and pains from general mum life! There will be some very gentle abdominal rehab work, as well as pelvic floor exercises incorporated into the class to aid with postnatal recovery. Most importantly, there will be opportunity to chat to other mums, and make some new friends!
