Pumpkin Picking is big business this year and tickets are literally selling out all over the place, it seems no October half term is complete without a trip to the pumpkin patch, the compulsary child in a wheelbarrow photo and an abundance of mud. Thankfully there are lots of local attractions who do still have availability for half term but you'll want to move fast. 

Lewis Of London PYO Pumpkins- based in neighbouring Barnet on an ice cream farm (check out their amazing array of spooky flavours of ice cream whilst there!)

Hatters Farm PYO Pumpkins have grown thousands of pumpkins and squash at their Pumpkin Patch for you to come and choose from. With over 25 varieties, whether you like knobbly ones, giant ones, tiny ones or colourful ones you can take your pick this half term.

On the 30th and 31st october you can pick a FREE Pumpkin from the Harvey centre Pumpkin Patch.

If you fancy venturing in the neighbouring Harpenden Rothamstead enterprise have pumpkin carving on all week .

Foxholes Farm also has Pumpkins available for picking with a pumpkin included with every child as part of their Halloween Event.

There is also the amazing Appleby street farm located in neighbouring Cheshunt which doesnt need prebooking and is a real budget friendly option if you are looking for a more simplistic pumpkin experience.
