Janette Bishop. Canine Behaviour Practicioner
"Our dog Missy is a rescue so we knew she was going to have some issues and some of them might not come out straight away, but we didn't know what they were going to be and what to expect as there was not much known about Missy's past. Janette was up for a challenge and started working with Missy pretty much as soon as she arrived home with us. I could see instantly that Missy took to Janette, the connection was obvious 😁. Its is still work in progress but Janette managed to help Missy already. One thing that was proving difficult was Missy's fear of loud noises such as trains, sports cars and the worst one being motorbikes. The difficulty was that if Missy heard a noise during the walk, the walk was done, she would either freeze and become unresponsive or try to flee, again unresponsive. It was difficult as there are not many places, if any which are completely road noise free. Janette worked her magic and now if it is particularly loud noise she does notice is but shakes it off and is back to normal within seconds and enjoying sniffing everything in her way. We are now working on recall and Janette once again is a massive help, any advice or action plan is in accordance with Missy's individual personality, she can't be forced and needs patient and gentle approach and Janette has definitely got the patience of an angel. And it works. I could tell even after the first time we met that working with dog is her absolute passion and Missy sensed that straight away too so would 100% recommend Janette to anyone who has any behavioural problems with their furry child."
