Hertfordshire Libraries have launched their "Ready Reads" scheme. Ready Reads is the first step in resuming our library services. You can order packs of books online for collection from Hemel Hempstead, St Albans or Welwyn Garden City.
Adult packs come in fiction (choose a genre or pick n mix), non-fiction (choose from a list of available topics) or large print packs and contain 6 books.
Children's packs contain 12 book as and can be ordered by age range.
Simply order online or by calling 0300 123 4049. The library staff will select books for you and contact you when they are ready to collect (don't forget to take your own bag!). Books can be kept for up to 4 weeks.
