At SWAN Youth Project, we offer a free, welcoming drop-in space for young people aged 11 to 16+ in the heart of Berkhamsted.

We're open Monday to Friday, from 3:30 to 6:00 PM, providing a place to relax, eat, create and connect — with hot meals, games, art, music, and always someone to talk to.

Our work is rooted in a simple belief:
Somewhere to go. Something to do. Someone to listen.

At SWAN, young people can feel safe, accepted and inspired — to be themselves, try new things, build life skills, enjoy a nourishing meal, and feel like they truly belong.

We know that looking after your mental health is just as important as caring for your body.
That's why everything we do is shaped around the 5 Ways to Wellbeing — helping young people to connect, be active, take notice, keep learning and give.

Whether it's playing games, cooking, making art, or just taking time to breathe,

SWAN is a place where it's okay to come exactly as you are.
