Restaurant Reopenings

As our local restaurants begin to open throughout July, we have compiled a list of which restaurants are opening and when, together with their Covid-19 safety procedures.

You can find all of the restaurants listed below and their contact details on our Dining & Food page.

  • The Fishery - Now taking bookings from 4th July
  • Boxmoor steakhouse - Takeaway only for now
  • The Harvester - Now taking bookings from 4th July. The maximum number of guests per table booking will be 6. Reduced menu due to supply issues.
  • The Red Lion - Now taking bookings from 4th July and takeaway from 25th June. Tables have been moved to adhere to social distancing measures, glass screens have been installed where needed and disposable menus introduced. Maximum table numbers are currently 8 and there is a new order and pay at table app.
  • The Marchmont Arms - Now taking bookings from 4th July
  • The Paper Mill - Now taking bookings from from 4th July. Seating arrangements will allow for 1m+ social distancing.
  • Pizza Express - currently closed, restaurants will open gradually.
  • Vegan Spartan - Reopening on 5th July for dine in alongside delivery and takeaway. Reservations recommended as they will be operating at a reduced capacity to ensure social distancing. There will also be hand sanitiser points, disposable menu's, stringent cleaning and sanitising measures across the restaurant including closing between 3.50-5.30pm every weekday to allow for a deep clean.
  • Opuz Kitchen - Now taking bookings from from 4th July.
  • Nando’s - available for click and collect only, order online
  • Frankie and Benny's - phased opening of restaurants, Hemel not open yet. 
  • Prezzo - phased opening of restaurants, Hemel not open yet. 
  • Bella Italia - phased opening of restaurants, Hemel not open yet. 
  • K2 - Now taking bookings from from 4th July.
  • The Sitar - open for collection and delivery only at the moment 
  • The Cochin - open for collection and delivery only at the moment 
  • Toby carvery - opening soon, no date yet.
  • Miller & Carter - now taking bookings. Increased cleaning, social distancing measures, contactless payment preferred. Introduced an app to pay at the table and view menu.
