Remember, remember the 5th of November, gunpowder, treason and plot! We certainly haven’t forgotten so have put together a roundup of the best local fireworks displays this year. There are quite a few displays happening over both weekends this year, so wrap up warm, grab some sparklers and a hot chocolate and make the most of this wonderful night of the year!
Camelot Firework Extravaganza
Friday 1st November, 5pm, Camelot Rugby Club
The annual Firework display is back with food, drink and fireworks! Gates open at 5pm, firework display at 7.30pm. £5 per ticket in advance or £15 for a family ticket (2 adults and up to 3 children). On the door tickets £7 per ticket or £20 for a family ticket. More info
Abbots Langley fireworks
1st November 6.30pm – 8pm, Manor House Park
This fantastic FREE firework display is organised by the Watford Lions and music by JP Discos Watford. Fun fair and burger van too. Gates open at 6.30pm, firework display at 7.30pm. More info
Berkhamsted Rotary Fireworks
Saturday 2nd November, Berkhamsted Cricket Club
Bar, food and fireworks. Gates open 6pm, display 7pm. Advance tickets from £5, on the door tickets from £6. More info
Tring Festival of Fire
Saturday 2nd November, Tring Park Cricket Club
A fantastic night out for all the family with food stalls, beer tent, live music, bonfire and the most spectacular firework display. Advance booking advised. Doors open 5.30pm, entertainment 6pm, bonfire 6.30pm and fireworks display 7.15pm. More info
Chipperfield Firework Display & Firewalk
Saturday 2nd November, 6.30pm Chipperfield Common
Alongside the Fireworks display, this year Chipperfield also have a Firewalk experience in order to raise money for Hertfordshire charity, TransitionsUK which will take place at 6.30pm. You need to register with TransitionsUK as soon as possible if you wish to take part in this challenge. The fireworks will be set off at 7.45pm. There will be food and drink stalls but no children’s rides. More info
St Albans Fireworks Spectacular at Verulamium Park
Saturday 2 November.
The display with musical accompaniment is produced by double winners of the British Fireworks Championships, Fantastic Fireworks. There will be a Food Village providing plenty of food and drink for you to enjoy too – with street food outlets, burgers and hot dogs. The bars will again be supplying beers brewed by Tring Brewery along with mulled wine, cider and gin! Tickets online in advance or at the gate (cash only). Redbourn Common Fireworks in Redbourn

This free local event runs alongside a fun fair and the Scouts selling hotdogs to make it a great family evening. More info
Cassiobury Fireworks in Cassiobury Park, Watford
Saturday 2 November.
This is Hertfordshire's largest free firework display and has food stalls and fun fair rides for the kids. More info
Pixies Hill Fireworks Night
Sunday 3rd November, Pixies Hill School, 5.30pm – 7pm
Family friendly fireworks display. There will be candy floss, hot and cold drinks and a variety of glow in the dark toys available to purchase on the night plus a bbq. More info
