Challenge Sport and Education run a comprehensive range of fun, exciting and innovative sports-based courses for boys and girls. The focus of every course in every age group is keeping children active, and putting a smile upon your child's face! We have a passion for sport and having fun, we can't wait to see your child at one of courses soon.

Dacorum AC (Formerly Dacorum & Tring AC) is an athletics club based at Hemel Hempstead's Jarman Park athletics track. We cater to athletes of all ages from 10 and up.

Our local water is the Grand Union Canal which is easily accessible from our club house. We welcome all from beginners to experienced paddlers (although under 14's must be accompanied by an adult). Our clubhouse has a training facility, small paddling gym and a range of loan equipment including boats and safety equipment.

Hemel Hempstead Town Cricket Club offers fun cricket for boys and girls from age 5 to adult, at various times of the week. Get in touch for more details.

We do not teach beginners or people to ski. Our general aims are to have fun, promote skilful and safe skiing, to train, develop and help established racers and to introduce novices to the sport of ski racing. Training for the younger members (U12 and younger) takes place between 6.00pm and 7.30pm on a Monday night, and for the older groups (U14 and older) between 7.00pm and 9.00pm also on a Monday night.

In proud partnership with coaching specialists Russell Hoops, Hemel Storm is delighted to announce a brand-new range of community coaching offerings exclusively for aspiring young basketball players within the Dacorum Borough Council area. Drawing on its popularity within Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas, and maximising the potential presented by Russell Hoops' well-established name in coaching excellence within the East of Hertfordshire, the team at Hemel Storm want to ensure there's dedicated basketball coaching on offer locally for young players of all ages and abilities.

Orienteering is for families. Try it with your kids. It's healthy exercise in varied locations. Kids love meeting and taking part. We'll give you a map showing a series of checkpoints for you to visit as fast as you can. For Juniors there is a regular introductory series of events. And all club juniors are invited to attend the free junior training sessions held about 6 times per year. There is no lower age limit, but parents of children under 8 are asked to stay with them.

Mighty Netball delivers weekly engaging sports coaching for children from age four to eleven. Sessions are play-based and use creative ways to teach the fundamentals of Netball. Join Mighty to benefit from personal, social and technical skill development. #startplayingbecomeMighty

Snowbility is the brainchild of Ski Development Coach, Richard Fetherston, who discovered the incredible benefits that could be achieved for people with additional needs and mental health challenges through ski and snowboard coaching. Based at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead, we have created a safe environment with an infinite sense of adventure and fun, where each student feels special and every course is tailored to deliver a unique personal experience.

Our Multisports sessions are tailored to fully engage every participant. We build on existing skills as well as coach new skills, such as communication, making new friends, being a team player and a leader. All whilst having fun!

Multi sports sessions for children aged between 18 months to 5 years old covering sports such as football, basketball, tennis, hockey and more!

- 8.45am - 9.30am for our Monkey Sprogs (18 months to 2.5 year olds)

You can choose whether you want your junior to join others in Group Lessons or have a Private 1:1 Lesson, it's up to you! Lesson durations vary by age, as well as whether they are taking place during term time or in the school holidays. Skis, boots, poles and helmets are included in all our Lessons and you don't need to purchase a Lift Pass when you book a Lesson, it's already included in the price.

We teach skateboarding and scootering in Hertfordshire area as well as snowboarding.

We also run kids holiday day camps.

Dacorum Inline/Roller Hockey Club is a non-profit making organisation, run by volunteers, all funds raised are used for equipment or club expenses. Most people can be taught the basics of skating in their first session. The first session is free to new members. Players must be over 8 years old. Safety equipment provided free of charge.
