We are a friendly hockey club based at the Cow Roast, just between Berkhamsted and Tring.We run 5 mens teams and 4 ladies teams, covering all ages and abilities. For the stars of the future, we have a packed youth section, split into various age ranges, training at various times.

Dacorum AC (Formerly Dacorum & Tring AC) is an athletics club based at Hemel Hempstead's Jarman Park athletics track. We cater to athletes of all ages from 10 and up.

Our local water is the Grand Union Canal which is easily accessible from our club house. We welcome all from beginners to experienced paddlers (although under 11's must be accompanied by an adult). Our clubhouse has a training facility, small paddling gym and a range of loan equipment including boats and safety equipment.

Hemel Hempstead Town Cricket Club offers fun cricket for boys and girls from age 5 to adult, at various times of the week. Get in touch for more details.

We do not teach beginners or people to ski. Our general aims are to have fun, promote skilful and safe skiing, to train, develop and help established racers and to introduce novices to the sport of ski racing. Training for the younger members (U12 and younger) takes place between 6.00pm and 7.30pm on a Monday night, and for the older groups (U14 and older) between 7.00pm and 9.00pm also on a Monday night.

From Monday 13th April 2026 - Tuesday 7th July 2026:
Weekly skills academy for primary and secondary aged children.
Monday at Hemel Hempstead School - 6 - 6.45pm primary school age; 7pm - 7.45pm Secondary school age; £8 per session.

Tuesday at Hemel Hempstead school - 6 - 7pm girls only; 7pm - 8.30pm - Elite and Academy focus elite. £8 per session

Orienteering is for families. Try it with your kids. It's healthy exercise in varied locations. Kids love meeting and taking part. We'll give you a map showing a series of checkpoints for you to visit as fast as you can. For Juniors there is a regular introductory series of events. And all club juniors are invited to attend the free junior training sessions held about 6 times per year. There is no lower age limit, but parents of children under 8 are asked to stay with them.

Junior basketball sessions for 7 years to 16 years.

A free, fun, and friendly weekly 2k event for juniors (4 to 14 year olds) who can walk, jog, run or skip the course. Please register on the parkrun website before you first come along , this will generate a barcode which you need to bring with you to each event you attend. The aim is to have fun. Please come along and join in whatever your pace! We meet by the children's play area each Sunday at 9am.

Mighty Netball delivers weekly engaging sports coaching for children from age four to eleven. Sessions are play-based and use creative ways to teach the fundamentals of Netball. Join Mighty to benefit from personal, social and technical skill development.

Snowbility is the brainchild of Ski Development Coach, Richard Fetherston, who discovered the incredible benefits that could be achieved for people with additional needs and mental health challenges through ski and snowboard coaching. Based at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead, we have created a safe environment with an infinite sense of adventure and fun, where each student feels special and every course is tailored to deliver a unique personal experience.

We offer a range of junior ski lessons from complete beginner (Level 1) right through to SnowStars Academy Coaching Club and Freestyle Coaching. You can choose whether you want your junior to join others in Group Lessons or have a Private 1:1 Lesson, it's up to you! Lesson durations vary by age, as well as whether they are taking place during term time or in the school holidays. Skis, boots, poles and helmets are included in all our Lessons and you don't need to purchase a Lift Pass when you book a Lesson, it's already included in the price.

You can choose whether you want your junior to join others in Group Lessons or have a Private 1:1 Lesson, it's up to you! Snowboards, boots and helmets are included in all our Lessons and you don't need to purchase a Lift Pass when you book a Lesson, it's already included in the price.

We provide half hour or hour long trampolining sessions for children and adults with special educational needs. The requirements of each individual vary greatly and our experienced coaches will try to accommodate everyone.

Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your trampoline skills to the next level, our classes offer the ideal environment to grow and thrive. With small group sizes, expert coaches, and a supportive atmosphere, you'll feel safe and confident every step of the way. Our sessions are perfect for building skills tailored to your goals, whether you're working towards awards, GCSE PE, Duke of Edinburgh or mastering bigger skills.

We teach skateboarding and scootering in Hertfordshire area as well as snowboarding.

We also run kids holiday day camps.
