Parent Network groups are facilitated by parents of children with special needs for parents of children with all special needs. All groups are funded by The Lottery and are free to attend. Simply turn up, there is no need to book. We are trained, insured and have DBS's and are passionate about supporting parents in judgement-free, relaxed, fun, groups whilst drinking tea/coffee. Runs once a month, check website for dates. Currently running online.

Our free helpline provides support and expert advice on anything from dealing with a break-up, to going back to work or sorting out maintenance, benefit or tax credit issues. The local Partnership aims to provide a range of activities and services that allows both schools and the community to benefit from a wider and broader access to learning and life. An opportunity to check your baby's weight as well as talk to Early Start staff from the Family Support Service on a variety of health promotions and parenting support topics. The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health recommend weighing your baby /toddler at specific times by the time your child is 2.5 years. Please access the Family Centre self-weigh stations to check your baby's progress at 16 weeks, 20 weeks, 8 months and 12 months. To ensure the safety of staff and families we are introducing new 15 minute bookable slots to weigh your baby at our centres.

We help them learn to accept new foods by working through the steps to eating to expand their food range. We offer group and individual sessions. Our team consists of an Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Dietician and 2 Therapy Assistants.

YC Hertfordshire provides youth work projects and programmes, information, advice, guidance, work related learning, outdoor education and support for young people aged 13-19 (to 24 for young people with learning disabilities). For young people leaving care, support is provided to the age of 21.

OUTSIDE HARPENDEN

ADD-vance supports parents and carers of children who have Autism and/or ADHD. Many of our services are free. Our support groups run both daytime and evening and we run workshops and six week courses for parents in Hertfordshire.
