Magical Festive fun at Willows Farm

Published:

Elf school, real-life reindeer, create-a-cuddly husky dog (and meet a real one), a 3D sleigh ride film and, of course, meeting the big man himself – Father Christmas - and getting the key to his toy shop to choose your own present… These are just some of the fantastic attractions on offer at Willows Farm this Christmas!

Our visit to Willows yesterday was so much fun and, for the first time EVER, all three children met Father Christmas without one of them crying (hooray!), although I have to admit I almost did - especially when my 7 year old told Father Christmas that the day had been so special, he thought he was dreaming!

Take a look at our videos below to see get an idea of the day:

Willows have really excelled themselves this year with their Santa Spectacular.  Each child gets to visit Santa in his magical grotto, where he gives them a golden key to his toy shop and they can choose any item they like (they had some really nice things to choose from – not the usual rubbish you get in most Grottos!).  The ticket price isn’t cheap (at c. £25 per child), but included within this price the children not only get to visit Santa (and choose a toy), but they also have the chance to make their own cuddly husky dog to take home, which seems great value when you think how much it costs to go to other bear-making workshops! With a new 3D sleigh ride film, Elf School, an ice rink, snowball shootout and indoor play, there is plenty to do inside if the weather takes a turn for the worst.  And there’s a huge roaring fire in the Burrow Café where you can get a nice hot meal and recharge your batteries.

It really is a fantastic festive day out for all the family and there are lots of things to keep you entertained and help build those special Christmas memories.  Here are a few pictures to share from our visit… thank you for a lovely day Willows!
