King's Go Live!

Advertorial by The King's School

Published:

Remote learning is in full swing at The King's School in Harpenden as teachers continue to respond to the challenges of lockdown, with online lessons and readily available support for our enthusiastic learners!

Meanwhile our Highfield Preschool, at the Oval, remains open as we support working parents.

Our Secondary students have a full timetable of ‘live’ lessons designed to keep them engaged and connected with their teachers and classmates. They enjoy simulated classroom discussions, breakout rooms for small group tasks, set work and support through one-to-one video calls.

Meanwhile the Primary School teachers have devised a dynamic combination of online Zoom and Teams lessons coupled with some home book work.

At the same time as managing the remote learning, all the teaching staff have risen to the challenge of juggling the supervision and support of our group of keyworkers’ children on site.

Our families are engaging really well, ensuring that students continue to make progress despite the difficulties we are all facing at this time. Our thanks go to all involved in making this work, not least the parents supervising the learning at home!
