Join us at Verulamium Museum for a story, craft activity and a museum hunt, inspired by a popular story.

This event is suitable for children aged 2 - 4 years, accompanied by an adult.

Sessions take place monthly on Thursdays, with hourly sessions between 10.15-12.15. Booking required.

Tots Tennis is for children ages 2-4 years. We incorporate child development and learning with tennis games and skills. We aim to improve children's tennis whilst developing key skills including counting, colour recognition, agility, balance, coordination and body awareness. All sessions are run by a fully licensed coach with (DBS) clearance.

Various trampolining sessions available for ages 4-7 yrs, 8-10 yrs, 11-15 yrs, and a session especially for children that are Home Schooled ages 8-15 yrs.

Spearheaded by Trestle's Learning and Participation Manager Helen Barnett and Trestle workshop leader Karene Horner-Hughes our fully inclusive youth theatre will create a stimulating and professional environment within which its participants can find their own creative expression and grow their understanding of professional theatre practice.

Fabulous classes in St Albans (weds/Fri) or Borehamwood (Mon/Thur)focussing on physical skills - Climbing, Balancing, Agility and Co-ordination. The award winning programme for children from 6m-5 years has been supporting children's development for 40 years. Watch your child's confidence grow week by week, as they challenge themselves to develop new physical, social and emotional skills.

We run Saturday morning kids football every Saturday for ages 3-13. Ages 3-4 yrs and 5-6 yrs are 9-10am. Ages 7-9 and 10-13 sessions are 10am-11am. We also offer inclusive tennis for all ages and ability levels. We have a junior tennis club and coaching for ages 4-16 years. We also offer one to one coaching. We teach pupils 3 years and over, through 1 to 1, 1 to 2, or group coaching sessions. It's important to us that our swimmers are safe, that they learn and have fun. With a maximum of 6 per group for non-swimmers and beginners' tuition, and with tailored teaching plans, our team of qualified instructors are able to do that. We have different ability groups running at the same time.

We are holding autism friendly training sessions with focus on fun, exploration and a safe space to meet new people and to be yourself.
Age range is reception up to year 10 (with flexibility to ask if your child is outside the age range). ADHD, Aspergers and other similar conditions welcome along too.

Wheathampstead Toddler Group is a volunteer run group for 0-4 years. Free-play, crafts, ride on toys and singing. Fantastic chance for parents and carers to meet other local parents. £3.50 per child plus 50p for each additional sibling and includes craft materials, a healthy snack and of course some coffee/tea/biscuits to keep the adults going! Runs on: Friday during term time from 9.45-11.30am

We are a new local business, giving children and their carers the chance to do woodwork with real hand tools! Kids learn how to use the tools safely and make their own toys and creations. Weekly Classes on Friday afternoons for children age 3-5 and Wednesday mornings for ages 4-10.
