All abilities are welcome to join us for a self navigational trail run in support of the British Heart Foundation.
You will be given a navigation route with checkpoints around the course. Can you find them all and make it to the finish line? Wear something red to show your support!

This February half term why not channel your inner Michelangelo with our air dry clay. You can sculpt a life like model of yourself, make a decoration, or create more abstract version of your favourite bird. Something perfect to do when the weather is bleak and cold and you want to stay in the nice warm Visitor Centre, near the coffee, cookies and crisps.

Available everyday over the February half term holidays (Saturday 14 February - Sunday 22 February) for £4 for the clay and all the tools you need to create your masterpiece.

Gladiators are you ready? You have 90 minutes to take on beat the wall, hang tough, crawl through tyres, climb ramps and swing on the monkey bars. Muddy feet guaranteed on the mud jump course.

From our experience, the children get more out of the activity without parents on course, instead please feel welcome to stay in the hub and help yourself to hot drinks.

This gentle, hands-on experience allows adults and children to get up close, help feed our friendly lambs, and learn more about life on the farm. A truly heart-warming activity and the perfect addition to a family day out at Aldenham Country Park.

Join us for lamb bottle feeding this spring. This is a unique and memorable experience for people of all ages.

Commencing from February Half Term 2026.

A total of six people can bottle feed the lambs per session (each has a separate lamb). For an entrance price of just £2.40 you can come and go from the centre throughout the day including our daily meet and greets every 45 mins!

Have you always wanted to have a go at sculpting out of air dry clay?

This February half term why not channel your inner Michelangelo with our air dry clay. You can sculpt a life like model of yourself, make a decoration, or create more abstract version of your favourite bird. Something perfect to do when the weather is bleak and cold and you want to stay in the nice warm Visitor Centre, near the coffee, cookies and crisps.

Available everyday over the February half term holidays (Saturday 14 February - Sunday 22 February) for £4 for the clay and all the tools you need to create your masterpiece.

Why not also have a go at Rock Painting also available every day?

This exhibition showcases Hertford Museum's extensive cermaics collections, spanning thousands of years of form, function and fun from across the globe.

Gladiators are you ready? You have 90 minutes to take on beat the wall, hang tough, crawl through tyres, climb ramps and swing on the monkey bars. Muddy feet guaranteed on the mud jump course.

From our experience, the children get more out of the activity without parents on course, instead please feel welcome to stay in the hub and help yourself to hot drinks.

This workshop is inside working from printed resources and will be using pencils and pastels to recreate some city scapes. Looking at line, detail, composition, perspective, tone and colour they will quickly gain the skills and confidence to start capturing the beauty of an urban setting and using their imagination to turn it into a work of art.
