Macramé Jam. Join local macramé artist Macramé Mummy Becky, for a fantastic day of of macramé making.

In our afternoon session Becky will be running her first Macramé Jam at Southern Maltings. It is something she does regularly at the Simon Balle, where she runs a regular Macramé Club. Sometimes kids just need the tools and support to get be inspired, get creative and go on their own knotting journey.

This afternoon session will see Becky open her Pandora's Box of knotting goodies for the children to make what they desire, with her guidance and help. It could be keyrings, bag charms, small wall hangings or wreaths or something else we haven't thought of.... the knotting world is their oyster! Many of our macramé kids come back to Becky's workshops time and time again, and the opportunity to experiment and do their own thing (with a tutor at hand) will be priceless. We can't wait to see what loveliness is created!

All materials are included in the price.

Grab a couple of mates, enjoy a full day of mindful craft or just a couple of hours, and take away some beautiful macramé for yourself or gifts for your friends and family.

This workshop is aimed children over the age of 8+

The workshop is being run with a maximum capacity of 10 children and will run from 1pm -3pm. Morning and Afternoon Workshops can be booked separately, but if you book this workshop in a combined ticket together with Becky's morning Session Knotted Coaster and Flower Jar then you will get a £7 discount!

Tickets for the Macramé Jam Workshop only are £22.50 per child and for both sessions making an all-day fun Macramé Camp from 10am - 3pm for £38. You should send a packed lunch with your child.

The session will be held in our Main Downstairs Functions Space - Please enter via our main door on Kibes Lane Carpark.
