What's On October Half Term?

Published:

The October Half Term is just around the corner and you might be wondering what to do?

Here is little list of my top picks, most of these are prebook only unless specified.

Pumpkin Picking

There are some wonderful places to pick pumpkins, some of which have really expanded to create a longer fun day out, some off which have mazes and great photo opportunities. Our closest being  Moggerhanger, we also have Windy's in Houghton Regis, Willows Farm, Herrings Green Farm , Hitchin and Milton Keynes.

Halloween Events

There are tonnes of wonderful events going on over half term including a fun disco organised by the community carnival, a spooky charity halloween party and a spooky Funfest. You could check out Shuttleworth's Spooktacular event under the nights sky or visit Herrings Green Farm to have an evening with the owls under the stars. Hatfield House have a whole day of spooky entertainment planned and The Olde Watermill have a magic show lined up and pumpkin carving. If you fancy an autumnal walk then why not incorporate it into the Sandy Pumpkin Trail or enjoy a recipe trail at Wimpole.

Remember these are just a few of the events going on locally and there are far more here, you can scroll through or select a particular date using the handy calendar. and if you are looking for childcare that week there are a few holiday clubs

Whether you go out to one of these fang-tastic events of stay in and bake pumpkin pie, I hope you have a great half term!
